a name change or not. The majority of our membership voted
NOT TO CHANGE OUR VSC NAME.
Communications Department
We would like to WELCOME Laura Brackenbury --Mary's daughter--
to the Communications Department as our Webmaster!
Laura has set up our new email account with Google
(victoriasketchclub@gmail.com)
and also created a new website/blog (https://victoriasketchclub.blogspot.ca).
She is very knowledgable and efficient in managing and updating this blog.
A warm 'thank-you' for updating our website and giving it a new 'face-lift'.

A BIG thank-you to Rory Kirby, who has been our Webmaster for many years.  He has done an awesome job, for which we are very appreciative!
Recently he handed the webmaster baton over to Laura.

Larry was instrumental in purchasing an iPad for VSC, to be used by the VSC Secretary for all correspondence, and to be used by the Treasurer during the Show. A great addition to our Communications Department. Thanks, Larry!

Fall/Winter Program
Have you noticed several changes to our sessions at the Windsor Park Pavillion?
Nirmala Greenwell and her team have added the following to the sessions:
SPOT LIGHTS: spotlights are placed, as needed, eg for Still Life & Model sessions.
ROUND ROBIN: members showing their work which they produced during the
present session.
TEN MINUTE TIP: one of our members explaining, in an informal way, a certain aspect of their expertise in art.
(see pictures below)
Of course, we still have Show and Share at the end of the session, where members have the opportunity to invite feedback on their work.
And, Refreshments by Joan, are a very welcome time to relax,
enjoy the goodies and socialize.
